It would not be possible conduct our mission without volunteers from the local community, helping with monthly trail work days from March to November, as well as our events, the Lost River Trail Run and Lost River Classic.
We have recently become an affiliate chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), and you can become a dues-paying member of LRTC through the IMBA portal: https://www.imba.com/join/chapter/620211.
LRTC members may also choose to become IMBA members as part of the check-out process and are eligible for a variety of perks as a member of the national organization (read more here). LRTC is currently developing a reward system for our own chapter members with the help of local businesses. These benefits will be expanded over time, but currently include:
- $1 off coffee at Drifters Cafe in Mathias on trail work days
The annual dues help fund LRTC’s recurring expenses, such as insurance, start-up costs for our events, and tools or other costs associated with routine trail maintenance.
